Rest and Connect Yoga is a holistic yoga practice that uses the mind and body to assist us in identifying our thoughts, emotions, sensations, and actions. It is led by a clinically trained teacher who utilizes trauma-informed, restorative yoga practices and holds space that supports compassion and healing.


Rest and connect yoga offers participants the opportunity to deeply explore their experiences, process distress, and expand their understanding of self. This yoga practice is inclusive and cultivates belonging, allowing individuals to come to the practice just as they are in the present moment. Everyone is encouraged to give themselves what they need in a way that does not cause harm to themselves or others.
The forms used in Rest & Connect Yoga guide you through my Collective Self-Care approach to health and healing by using the mind and body to cultivate connection, awareness, choice, and expansion. They are held for a longer period of time than in other yoga practices and use props to support the body.

The potential benefits of restorative yoga include: resolving chronic stress, soothing pain, improving sleep, building emotional resilience, and supporting physical and mental well-being.
